Orlen talks with the Saudis about oil supplies and the development of petrochemicals

Representatives of the Orlen Group and Saudi Aramco are talking about crude oil supplies to our region and the prospects for the development of petrochemicals – said the president of PKN Orlen, Daniel Obajtek on Twitter. As he emphasized, the production of advanced plastics is a great opportunity for the Orlen Group plant in Gdańsk.

– We are talking with Aramco representatives about raw material supplies to our region, but also about the prospects for the development of petrochemicals. The production of advanced plastics, in cooperation with the global leader in this industry, is a great opportunity for the Gdańsk plant and the entire Polish economy – wrote the president of PKN Orlen, Daniel Obajtek on Twitter.

Nuclear energy is to be financed in Poland so that energy is cheaper

Paweł Pytlarczyk, deputy director of the nuclear energy department in the Ministry of Climate and Environment, admitted at the EUROPOWER 2022 conference under the patronage of BiznesAlert.pl that work on the model of financing nuclear power plants in Poland is ongoing, but they are to provide the lowest energy price to consumers.

– Work is still underway on a model for financing a nuclear power plant in Poland. It will aim at offering the lowest possible price of energy to consumers, because this is the purpose of the construction of the nuclear power plant, said director Pytlarczyk.
