Six months have passed since the settlement of the European Commission and Gazprom in the course of the antitrust investigation. According to Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, it did not bring the expected improvement in the market situation, and the Commission avoids answering questions on this subject.

Despite growing resistance in Europe, Gazprom’s project called Nord Stream 2 is gaining further approvals. Meanwhile, as BiznesAlert.pl wrote, the Commission is considering an amicable settlement of the antitrust investigation against the company. Member of the European Parliament Jacek Saryusz-Wolski commented on the issue.
