Basing on confirmed reports, the Company informs that between January-August 2018, LNG accounted for nearly 20 percent of imports, while natural gas from Russia accounted for ca. 74 percent of imports.

Arbitration Court in Stockholm informed that Gazprom challenged its partial award from 30 June, in which it agreed with PGNiG that the Company has contractual grounds to request a change in prices charged by Gazprom for natural gas supplied to Poland under the Yamal Contract.

Germany will choose where to build its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal by the end of 2018 as a gesture to the United States, which wants to ship more gas to Europe, economy minister Peter Altmaier said after a meeting with Maros Sefcovic, the European Commission vice president and EU energy chief.

– Over the next years, the Company’s priority will focus on diversification of directions and sources of gas delivery, to be reached through construction of new cross-border connections with e.g. Lithuania, Slovakia or Denmark – stated Tomasz Stępień, CEO of Gaz-System on September 20, 2018 during the 4th Energy Congress held in Wrocław.
