A factory for photovoltaic components may be built in Upper Silesia

– An example of a photovoltaic project implementation is the so-called Industrial PV Panel. It is an initiative of the largest large companies that produce modules, panels, as well as those in the field of inverters, inverters and cabling. This project involves the construction of a large photovoltaic cell factory. We are inclined to have this factory built in Upper Silesia – said Ireneusz Zyska, Deputy Minister of Climate, government plenipotentiary for renewable energy during the European Economic Congress.

Ireneusz Zyska spoke about the development of the domestic supply chain. He noted that Poland, together with France and Germany, may be a leader in the production of components for panels and photovoltaic cells, the glass industry and scientific and research potential. – It is an initiative of the largest large companies that produce modules, panels, as well as those in the field of inverters, inverters and cabling. This project involves the construction of a large photovoltaic cell factory. We are inclined to have this factory built in Upper Silesia – he pointed out. He added that this could be an example of re-industrialization of the region and the use of funds for the energy transition.
