The head of the Polish government also said that he had discussed this project during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Sweden. He added that Poland opts for this, together with the European Commission, that European law be fully implemented here and fully respected.

Poland and Hungary are talking about the Three Seas fund

– It is necessary to create conditions and adequate infrastructure to supply oil and gas from many different sources; many European countries are aiming for this – said Hungarian President Janos Ader on Friday after meeting with President Andrzej Duda.

As he informed, one of the topics discussed at the meeting was the development of infrastructure in the Central Europe region. Ader said that the topic of energy security was discussed in a conversation with the Polish president. „Many European countries strive to supply gas, oil, from many different sources; it is necessary to create conditions and appropriate infrastructure for this; it is about the construction of connectors – he stressed.

He added that he would like an LNG terminal similar to the one that already operates in Świnoujście to be built in Croatia. He assessed that it contributes to the increase of Poland’s energy security. Ader added that the possibility of creating a joint fund that would help to pursue the interests of the Three Seas Initiative countries was also discussed.
