No progress in talks between trade unions of the Polish Mining Group and the deputy prime minister

Polish Press Agency (PAP) has determined that the meeting of April 21 did not bring settlements, but it will take place another April 22. – We are going to meet on Wednesday to discuss the situation, the next meeting will probably take place on Thursday. Depending on the effects of these discussions, we will decide what to do next – said PAP interlocutor, stressing that trade unionists are aware of the difficult situation of PGG, but they still consider the proposal of a 20 percent salary reduction for three months too radical.

Saudi oil pushes Russian oil out of Poland

Despite the official ending of the price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia consisting in increasing the supply of raw material, the customer war did not cease. Poland is one of the beneficiaries – reports Reuters. The Russian advantage on the European market lies in direct pipeline connections, but the data show that even such an advantage does not allow Russia to keep traditional customers like Poland despite the conclusion of a new oil agreement with Saudi Arabia, which was to end the price war.
