Gazprom’s complaint on the Stockholm arbitration is injustified, says PGNiG
After receiving a copy of Gazprom’s complaint to set aside the final judgment of the Arbitration Tribunal in Stockholm in the arbitration proceedings concerning the reduction of the contract price for gas supplied under the Yamal contract, PGNiG upholds its earlier position, according to which there are no reasons to set aside the court’s judgment .
PGNiG informed that the Court of Appeal in Stockholm served on the company a copy of Gazprom’s complaint to reverse the final judgment of March 30, 2020, issued by the Arbitration Tribunal in Stockholm in arbitration proceedings brought by PGNiG against Gazprom, concerning a reduction in the contract price for gas supplied by Gazprom on the basis of the Yamal contract.
Having received a copy of Gazprom’s complaint, the company maintains its position that there are no grounds for revoking the final judgment of the Stockholm Arbitration Tribunal. – In the course of the proceedings before the Court of Appeal in Stockholm, the company will seek to dismiss Gazprom’s complaint as it is unfounded – the company states in the report.
