Azoty secures strategic deliveries to Police

Grupa Azoty Polyolefins has secured the supply of key raw materials for Polimery Police. At the end of April, the chemical company signed an agreement to purchase propane from France’s Total Energies. The first delivery of 1,002 tons of propylene has already reached the plant.

Grupa Azoty has reported that on April 28, the first delivery of 1,002 tons of propylene arrived at the Polimery Police chemical complex. The raw material was delivered by rail by Grupa Azoty ZAK in tanks adapted for this purpose. The propylene that arrived to Police is necessary to test the polypropylene installation.

On April 27, Grupa Azoty Polyolefins signed an agreement to purchase propane from TOTSA Total Energies Trading. Thus, the company continues to secure the raw materials necessary for production as part of Polimery Police.

Grupa Azoty Polyolefins is a special purpose vehicle of Grupa Azoty Capital Group. It was established on September 24, 2015 and is responsible for the implementation of the Polimery Police chemical complex project.
