Duda will go to the US to talk about the Tree Seas initiative, energy and economic cooperation
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, invited President Andrzej Duda to the White House. The meeting would be held in June.
As informed by the Head of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Poland Krzysztof Szczerski, details regarding the visit will be the subject of the arrangements of both presidents. The economic visit of President Duda in the USA is also scheduled for June. – From our point of view, it was most convenient if one large visit could be organized that would include both visit in Washington and the economic component. But we will talk about it later – said the presidential Minister.
He stressed during the press conference in the Presidential Palace that it will be the second meeting of the presidential pairs of Poland and the United States in the White House in the last 10 months. – Details about the date and program of the visit will be confirmed by the American side and I will inform about it 30 days prior to the visit. This should happen in the next few days – said Minister Szczerski.
According to Minister Szczerski, Polish President talking to President Trump, would like to raise topics related to the Tree Seas Initiative, the American business presence on the Polish energy market, transport and telecommunications infrastructure of our region, but also bilateral energy cooperation. – The two most important topics of the talks will be the economy, including energy and the American presence in Poland. We want to talk about the international situation – added the presidential Minister.
He also announced that in the last week of May he is going to Washington to discuss the political component of President Duda’s visit.
