The Minister of Climate confirmed the construction schedule of the nuclear power plant, which is already circulating in the media, and the pace of construction at one reactor ouut of three per year.

The geological survey starts next week. “It’s over 200 boreholes that will allow for the safe design of the nuclear plant in Pomerania,” stated Climate Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska. “Based on the research, the State Atomic Energy Agency will be able to issue a construction permit,” she added.

She also confirmed the schedule previously shared with the media, which includes pouring nuclear concrete in 2028, followed by the completion of the next three reactors in 2036, 2036, and 2037.

By the end of the year, the Polish Nuclear Power Program is expected to be updated. This program envisions pouring concrete in 2028, building the first reactor in 2033, and then constructing additional reactors every two years, not every year.
