The Government Plenipotentiary for Strategic Energy Infrastrcuture is not expecting that the construction of Poland’s first NPP in Pomerania will be delayed. „At this point I see no risk,” the Plenipotentiary said during a press conference on protecting critical energy infrastrcuture.
Anna Łukaszewska-Trzeciakowska, Government Plenipotentiary for Strategic Energy Infrastrcuture, has stressed that the deadline and security of the construction of the NPP in Pomerania were not at risk.
„At this point everything is happening according to schedule. All administrative processes are being completed successively. At the same time we want to invest nearly PLN 5 billion in accompanying infrastructure. This is very important as the success of these additional investments will impact the timely conclusion of the construction of the NPP. At this point I see no risk,” Trzeciakowska replied to a question from BiznesAlert.pl during a conference on the signing of a cooperation agreement between Gaz-System and Poland’s National Guard (WOT).
In recent months, both Poland and entire Europe have been working on strengthening protection at sea and on land. In January 2023 the EU and NATO agreed to launched a task force whose job would be to improve the resilience and security of critical infrastructure.
