Kosiniak-Kamysz postulates a National Anti-Smog Program

– I propose the National Anti-Smog Program. Let’s subsidize the replacement of furnaces, co-finance the purchase of less-emission fuel for the less well-off – said the President of the Polish People’s Party Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the Onet.pl debate before the presidential election. He is a candidate of the Polish Coalition PSL-Kukiz’15.

Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz argued that Poland should return to the Kawka program, i.e. co-financing of furnace replacement, as well as the thermomodernization program called Ryś.

– We should support local governments to help less well-off individuals. We will replace old furnaces, but we must support them to afford more expensive fuel – he said. In his opinion, co-financing of furnace replacement should reach 75 percent of the investment value, and for the poorest the support would amount to 100 percent.
