Ukraine and Hungary will improve gas trade at the border. Time for Poland

On May 1, 2020, the virtual point of connection of gas systems of Ukraine and Hungary named Bereg will start operating. It will enable the collection of orders for capacity in both directions in one place as required by regulation.

NC CAM regulations force connecting physical connection points of gas systems into virtual ones in order to operate on the same principles. The OGTSU and FGSZ operators conducted preparations for the finalization of this process for three months.

According to BiznesAlert.pl, a similar virtual point is to be created on the connection of Polish and Ukrainian gas transmission systems. Gaz-System and OGTSU are already working on it. It will make it possible to trade gas more effectively on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
