PGNiG increased natural gas sales

 The estimated volume of natural gas sold by the PGNiG Group in the second quarter of 2017 was 5.63 bcm, while last year at the same time the figure was 4.71 bcm. During the first half of the year PGNiG sold 14.49 bcm in comparison to 12.68 bcm a year earlier.

In the second quarter, the company extracted 1.04 bcm of natural gas. A year earlier it produced 1.08 bcm. In the entire first half of the year the extraction amounted to 2.22 bcm, while last year it was 2.26 bcm.

Gas import in the second quarter was 3.33 bcm in comparison to 2.84 bcm last year. The import from the East was at the time at 2.52 bcm and 2.62 in 2016.

In the entire first half of 2017 the import of natural gas was 6.55 bcm in comparison to 5.54 bcm a year earlier. The import from the East at the time was respectively: 5.23 bcm and 5.28 bcm.

The volume of oil sales in the second quarter was 316 thousand tons and in the first six month 706 thousand tons. At the same time last year, the figures were respectively 336 thousand tons and 734 thousand tons.

The oil extraction in the second quarter was at 269 thousand tons in comparison to 328 thousand tons in 2016. During the first half of the year 615 thousand tons of oil were extracted, while last year the amount was at 676 thousand tons.
