Polish Briefing: A nuclear deal between Poland and U.S. in October

According to BiznesAlert.pl information Poland is to sign a cooperation agreement with USA concerning nuclear power plants to be built in Pomerania region.

The deal announced by Polish president Andrzej Duda this year is to be presented in October. It is to describe the size of American financial input and technology choice. Poles are to mull the American offer. They state that Poland is still in talks on nuclear project with multiple countries, f.e. France and South Korea.

Polish Nuclear Energy Program draft was sent for government discussion. It assumes that first nuclear power plant in Poland is to be built in 2033 and there are 6-9 GW of nuclear energy to be provided until 2043.
