Polish coal mining quotes historic monthly mining level minimums
This July Polish coal production amounted nearly 5 million 132,4 thousand tonnes, with sales of 5 million 68,8 thousand tonnes – claims Industry Development Agency (ARP). Previous years’ analysis proves that it is a historic monthly mining level minimum in Poland.
Highest monthly coal production this year was quoted in March, as nearly 6 million tonnes of coal have been mined. Earlier, in February, it was 5 million 174 tonnes – lowest until July.
According to ARP data, coal reserves stored around mine heaps were 2 million tonnes. Coal mining at the end of July hired 82 thousand people.
Twentieth LNG delivery arrived in Świnoujście terminal.
Another gas tanker arrived in LNG terminal in Świnoujście on Saturday. It is the twentieth delivery of this recourse. This time 138 thousand cubic meters of liquid gas ordered by PGNiG from Norway have been received.
Altogether, after Saturday’s delivery unloading, the terminal received almost 4 million cubic meters of LNG. Last delivery is also the fourth spot delivery – it is not captured in the initial schedule, but on conditions defined in a short-term deal. Previous spot deliveries to Poland came form Qatar and the USA.
The first LNG delivery arrived in Świnoujście on 11th December 2015.
The Chinese bought Rosneft’s shares
The Chinese company CEFC China Energy will become an owner of 14,2 per cent of a Russian oil company Rosneft shares – announced Russian media on Friday, quoting Glencore group that took part in Rosneft’s privatization last year.
CEFC will be one of Rosneft’s shareholders after buying a part of shareholding owned by Glencore consortium and Qatari state found Qatar Investment Authority (QIA). Shares will be sold for an average price for last month with a 16 per cent bonus.
