Government: The distance act is ready

– The so-called of the distance act is ready, it is waiting for an entry into the government’s list of works, I hope it will go to parliament in the second quarter of 2021 – said Anna Kornecka, Deputy Minister of Development, Labor and Technology in an interview with TVP.

The deputy minister informed that the project, which had been worked on for the last few months, had been consulted with communities interested in investing in onshore wind energy. – But also with all entities participating in this process, i.e. the Office of Technical Inspection – because safety is the most important for us; The Energy Regulatory Office – this is the entity that will issue concession decisions and, above all, we refined the regulations on public consultations so that this project did not arouse such social emotions as the investments in onshore wind farms at the beginning of the previous decade – she explained.
