PGNiG’s victory over Gazprom confirmed

The Court of Appeal in Stockholm dismissed Gazprom’s petition to set aside the award of the Arbitral Tribunal concerning the price for gas supplied under the Yamal contract, issued in favour of PGNiG.

„We are satisfied with the ruling of the Swedish court, which entirely dismissed Gazprom’s allegations. After almost seven years since PGNiG commenced the arbitration proceedings against Gazprom, the matter is significantly closer to being concluded completely”, stressed Paweł Majewski, President of the Management Board of PGNiG SA.

Poland requests NATO assistance with providing airplanes to Ukraine

„The authorities of the Republic of Poland, after consultations between the President and the Government, are ready to deploy – immediately and free of charge – all their MIG-29 jets to the Ramstein Air Base and place them at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America,” informs Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

„At the same time, Poland asks the United States to provide us with used aircraft with corresponding operational capabilities. Poland is ready to immediately establish the conditions of purchase of the planes,” the statement said. „The Polish Government also requests other NATO Allies – owners of MIG-29 jets – to act in the same vein,” Polish MFA said.
