What goes on in Poland on the 4th of October.

Piotr Naimski may deal with the construction of a nuclear power plant in the government

Rzeczpospolita reports that the former government plenipotentiary for strategic energy infrastructure, Piotr Naimski, who is considered the political patron of the Baltic Pipe project, is to deal with the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Poland in the government.

Naimski’s associates announce unofficially that “the team is already corps for the nuclear mission.” Naimski has a large team, a large part of which would be transferred to the company responsible for the construction of the E1 nuclear power plant. – The representative of the Polskie Elektrownie Nuclear company admitted: “it is difficult to deny these reports”. But when we were asked to send questions, the PEJ media team on Friday night only wrote back: “The company does not comment on media speculations,” we read in the Rzeczpospolita publication.

Heads of diplomacy of Poland and Germany to discuss Ukraine

On Tuesday, Minister Zbigniew Rau will meet with Germany’s Foreign Minister Anna Baerbock. The talks will focus primarily on the situation in Ukraine.

– During the talks, the most urgent issues of international security will be raised, including the fictitious referenda held in recent days in four regions of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation. In addition, the heads of diplomacy of Poland and Germany will discuss the consequences of the further escalation of the war beyond the eastern border of Poland and the European Union, and further support for Kiev, reads the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes, this will be the third meeting between Minister Rau and Minister Baerbock in the last 10 months, which clearly demonstrates the essence of Polish-German dialogue not only in the field of bilateral relations, but also in cooperation on the international arena.
