In his opinion, it will reduce the CO2 emissions to European average level and will ensure secure energy supplies. – Our strategy is in a working process, because it is hard to tell what our energy policy will be, since we still keep in touch with the European Commission about capacity market notifications, aid for coal mining, but also revitalization of post-mining objects. The energy policy depends not only on us, but also on the point of view of the European Union – he said.

– In the first quarter, we will finish the works on notifications of the capacity market. The auctions will take place this year. Slogans of unprofitability will be verified and counted – declared the minister of energy Krzysztof Tchórzewski. He added that the decision on building the first Polish nuclear power plant will be made in mid-2018.
