What goes on in Poland on the 30th of July.
The crossing of the Baltic Pipe with Nord Stream 2 is approaching. The builders of both pipelines have met in the Baltic Sea
The ships that build the Baltic Pipe and Nord Stream 2 work in close proximity to each other. Soon, the main line from Norway will be crossed with that from Russia.
The Castorone left Danish territorial waters and was replaced by Castoro Sei, which was building the Baltic Pipe up to the Danish coast. Castoro 10 is waiting in the port of Rotterdam to join the construction of the next phase. BiznesAlert.pl has informed that the crossing of the Baltic Pipe with Nord Stream 1 took place on July 28.
Interestingly, the builder of Nord Stream 2, the Fortuna barge, is said to be located about 20 km away from the Castorone. Both units have stopped work, which, according to Neftegaz.ru, could represent difficult weather conditions with winds up to 5 on the Beaufort scale near Bornholm. Castorone is to return to work at the crossing of the Baltic Pipe with Nord Stream 2. It has 12.48 km of pipes left to lay, which may take up to three days.
