The energy strategy update is ready
The Minister of Climate and Environment Anna Moskwa said at a press conference that the update of the energy strategy (Poland’s Energy Policy until 2040, PEP2040 – editorial note) is ready.
– The update of Poland’s Energy Policy until 2040 is ready. I hope that we will be able to carry it out at the legislative level this year. I would like to point out that it will have a similar shape to the previous one, said Anna Moskwa.
Poles have already submitted five million applications for coal allowance
The Minister of Climate and Environment Anna Moscow spoke at a press conference about the current situation on the coal market in Poland. It turns out that five million applications for a carbon supplement have already been submitted in the country.
– The coal allowance is still paid. Last week’s data show that over 600,000 applications are pending, with a total of approximately five million submitted. It will support households for which coal or hydrocarbons are the main source of heating. We hope that by Christmas all municipalities will be able to transfer funds to recipients, said Moskwa.
– The payment of other allowances for pellets, LPG, fuel oil or log wood is still pending. November 30 was the deadline for submitting applications, there are fewer of them than in the case of the coal allowance, so there are no delays in their processing, she informed.
