November will be the time when this decision will be made – the Minister of Climate and Environment Anna Moskwa informed on Thursday, answering the question of when the technology for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Poland will be chosen.

– In 2023 we will know where the second nuclear power plant will be, so we will choose a partner, technologies and start all processes for the second location. By the end of the year, we will have chosen the technology for the nuclear program, and this will allow us to start construction in 2026. I am convinced that November will be the time when this decision will be made – Minister Moskwa informed on Thursday on Radio.

There are almost 1.2 million prosumers in Poland

There are almost 1.2 million PV prosumers– said Anna Moskwa, Minister of Climate and Environment on Thursday during the annual conference organized by Bank Ochrony Środowiska “Idea-Biznes-Klimat” 2022.

– This also shows that our transformation is acceptable, when it brings not only environmental benefits, but financial benefits, it gets the bill reduced by at least one zero. Certainly, photovoltaics brought such an effect – said Anna Moskwa. She stressed that the changes that the government introduced to the assumptions to the energy policy already in January this year are also valid today.
