The government wants to make the construction of pumped storage power plants easier

The government plans to create a special act on the preparation and implementation of investments in pumped storage power plants. It is to organize all the legal acts needed in the process of locating a power plant of this type. Thus, the investment process will be significantly simplified, which is to contribute to attracting potential investors. The information on the draft special act was included in the list of legislative works of the Council of Ministers, and its adoption is planned for the fourth quarter of this year.

– The aim of the project in question is to create such a regulatory environment for investments in the construction of pumped storage power plants that will generate incentives to invest in this type of generation units, which will benefit, inter alia, energy security as well as the certainty and guarantee of electricity supplies to consumers – stated in the list of legislative works of the Council of Ministers.

Poland will help Ukraine after Russian missile attacks

– After the Russian attacks on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, there are urgent telephone consultations between the presidents of Poland and Ukraine: Andrzej Duda and Volodymyr Zelensky – the presidential office informed. – We will work, among others, on the consolidation of international support and strengthening of Ukraine’s defense capabilities – emphasizes Zelenskiy.
