The document is the result of analyzes, studies and assessments lasting 18 months. The report is a road map for the implementation of the Polish nuclear program, including the construction of all six planned units of the future power plant. It also establishes a framework for Polish-American cooperation in the field of nuclear energy for the next 100 years. The partnership is intended for the US to provide technological support.

The United States offers Poland a 100-year partnership with world-class technology and financing that will enable the creation of a Polish nuclear energy program, Brzeziński wrote on Twitter. – This comprehensive report reflects the American commitment to Poland’s energy security and may begin an intensive development of multidimensional strategic relations in the field of security and economy – said the diplomat.

The decision on nuclear power plant construction to be made in October

The Minister of Climate and Environment Anna Moskwa announced that the decision on cooperation with the United States in the construction of a nuclear power plant should be taken in October this year.

– According to the Polish-American agreement, the government has 30 days to analyze this summary of cooperation and decide what to do with the Polish-American cooperation as far as nuclear power is concerned, said Minister Moskwa.
