Polish Briefing: Who will build a nuclear power plant in Poland?

Ongoing discussion on nuclear programme in Poland did not bring conclusions yet. In spite of speculations about American involvement, ministry of climate states that no technological partner was chosen and mentions France.

Ministry of climate’s department of nuclear energy director Tomasz Nawacki states that there is no decision on technological partner yet. He reminded in Polish Radio 24 that “France is a leader of nuclear energy on Old Continent”.

Polish Nuclear Energy Programme (PPEJ) assumes that technological partner from abroad will take up to 49 percent ownership in PGE EJ1, an entity devoted to project of nuclear power plants in Poland.
