Polish government will spend more than $ 3 billion on cyber security

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitization Krzysztof Gawkowski announced that the Polish government intends to invest more than PLN 3 billion in a cyber security system over the next 2-3 years.

„We want to allocate more than PLN 3 billion for a cyber field, which will guarantee the security of Polish women and Poles. It is supposed to be a cyber shield that will conduct regular security reviews, build resilience at the level of critical infrastructure,” Gawkowski said at a press conference.

He also stressed that the planned investments include a variety of support programs for relevant institutions, with a particular focus on local governments.

„These investments will be implemented in the next 2-3 years,” added Gawkowski.
