Orlen proposes concessions to the EC to take over Lotos

Reuters reports that PKN Orlen has offered concessions to the European Commission, for which Brussels would agree to the merger with the Lotos Group. The Commission did not reveal the details of Orlen’s proposal and is now waiting for feedback from rivals of the Polish company before deciding whether to accept the offer of Poles. It is investigating whether the acquisition of Lotos will not threaten competition on the Polish market. The decision on this matter is to be made by June 30. PKN Orlen’s proposal was to be received on Monday.

Polskie LNG gets closer to the extension of the LNG terminal in Świnoujście

West Pomeranian Voivode issued a location decision for the western LNG transmission flyover along with the necessary technical infrastructure in Świnoujście. As a result, Polskie LNG from the Gaz-System capital group obtained the right to dispose of real estate for construction purposes, needed for the implementation of the LNG Terminal Expansion Program.

Polskie LNG reported that on April 29 this year, the West Pomeranian Voivode issued a location decision for the western LNG transmission flyover along with the 6 / 0.4 kV electrical substation building in Świnoujście. – This means that we have a set of decisions necessary to apply for building permits for both the sea and land parts – emphasizes Krzysztof Jackowski, Vice President of the Management Board of Polskie LNG.
