During PGNiG’s press conference on the company’s 1H 2017 results, the management commented on the claim that the Act on fossil fuel reserves causes the difference in gas prices between Poland and Germany. The spread is not beneficial for our market. 

What goes on in Poland on the 9th of August.

The Al Halma tanker reached the LNG terminal in Świnoujście carrying another liquid gas delivery. The Q-Flex Al- type tanker with a capacity of 210 thousand m3 has already delivered 19 LNG loads to Poland.

Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo and LOTOS Petrobaltic started drilling an exploratory well on the Kamień Pomorski license.  The estimated volume of natural gas sold by the PGNiG Group in the second quarter of 2017 was 5.63 bcm, while last year at the same time the figure was 4.71 bcm. During the first half of the year PGNiG sold 14.49 bcm in comparison to 12.68 bcm a year earlier.
