The Visegrad Group will present a “Marshall Plan” for Belarus

– At the next meeting of European leaders, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on behalf of the Visegrad Group will present the “Marshall Plan” for Belarus, that is, a project of economic activities – said the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Michał Dworczyk, in a Monday interview with journalists.

– This is a project and a proposal of a number of activities, mainly economic, but not only, that would be offered to Belarus if the elections were repeated and held correctly. This is a proposal of assistance for Belarus and a road map for Belarus related to the creation of a stabilization fund, with the use of a number of other financial mechanisms, which the Prime Minister will talk about in detail, said Dworczyk.

The minister did not specify which sectors of the economy could count on support under the above-mentioned program and whether it includes, for example, financing energy projects that would allow Belarus to become independent from supplies of Russian energy resources.
