Zelenski and Naftogaz talk about permanent LNG deliveries via Poland

The CEO of Naftogaz Andriy Kobolev met with the newly sworn President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zlensky.

On Monday, May 20, Kobolev attended a meeting between President Zełenski and the US delegation with energy secretary Rick Perry and a special representative in Ukraine, Kurt Walker and Senator Ron Johnson. The topic of the talks was, among others, the creation of a permanent supply corridor for American LNG via Poland to Ukraine.

Apart from president Zelenski and the CEO of Naftogaz, the meeting was attended by the president’s advisers Oleksandr Danyliuk and Ruslan Riaboshapka, deputy foreign minister of Ukraine Olena Zerkal, head of the Ukrainian delegation to NATO Vadim Prystayko.

Gas from Poland goes to Ukraine thanks to the PGNiG-ERU Trading agreement. The first LNG volumes also arrived there, as informed by BiznesAlert.pl.
