Potential contractors a highly interested in implementing the Baltic Pipe pipeline

Gaz-System has verified the list of companies that may be interested in participating in the tender for the execution of the Baltic Pipe gas pipeline. Through the Request for Information (RFI) procedure 37 companies were contacted. The prospective contractors of the main works have expressed their readiness to participate in the tender.

PERN: Extension of the Gdansk Oil Terminal launched

The company plans to build 5 tanks which will allow it to service tankers entering the Naftoport even more efficiently. Currently, TNG Gdansk operates 6 storage depots with a total capacity of 2.36 million barrels (375 000 m2).

EU will not aim to tighten emissions reduction target ahead of COP24

The European Commission has given up plans to tighten the European emissions reduction goal for 2030 ahead of the UN climate conference COP24 in Katowice as member states did not voice sufficient support for the ambitious target to reduce CO2 levels by 45 percent instead of just 40 percent compared to 1990 levels, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reports.
