„Emissions requirements for new solid-fuel boilers, preferential loans for stove replacements, subsidized stove fuel for the poorest – these are some of the solutions that will be enforced before this year’s heating season”, announced the Vice-Minister of Development, Jadwiga Emilewicz.

The 2nd Round Table on Energy is taking place in Warsaw. The panel on Renewable Energy Sources was moderated by Patrycjusz Wyżka from the TVN24 news channel. The discussion was dominated by the future of the Paris Agreement after President Donald Trump’s decision, who wants to pull out from the package.

„In accordance with his earlier statements, the American President pulled the USA out of the Paris climate agreement (COP21). The decision will have a number of long- and short- term repercussions for the global climate and energy policy,” writes Konrad Świrski, professor at the Warsaw University of Technology and CEO of Transition Technologies.
