The construction of the first nuclear power plant in Poland is a huge challenge, which will entail the expansion of roads, ports and the railway network in Pomerania. The government is already developing a program to make the region a new energy hub of the country. 

The Ministry of State Assets (MAP) reported that financial institutions confirmed their intention to finance the National Energy Security Agency. It notes, however, that limiting the financing of entities holding coal assets requires covering financial obligations with guarantees from the state treasury and a corresponding change in the law.

„The complaint is ready, prepared by our ministry, we will quickly submit it to the Prime Minister’s Office, I am confident that this week it will be submitted,” said Anna Moskwa, Minister of Climate and Environment.

Poland supports investments in Ukraine. Warsaw Enterprise Institute has launched the Polish Service for the Reconstruction of Ukraine offices in the country.

The State Treasury proposed purchase terms for Tauron Wytwarzanie owned by the Tauron Group. The deal includes power plants in Jaworzno, Łaziska, Będzin and daughter companies, as well as Tauron Serwis and Bioeko Grupa Tauron. Coal-based generation assets will go to the National Energy Security Agency (NABE).
