Poland has entered into extensive economic cooperation with South Korea. This is a kind of expansion of relations beyond Western Europe and the United States. However, Poland should diversify its contacts in Asia and Australia in order to further reduce the monopoly of large players and Korea itself.
Today, the environmental decision for the first nuclear power plant has been issued. This is a very important document because it brings us closer to the construction of the atomic plant in Pomerania. The next stage will be the signing of a project agreement with Westinghouse and Bechtel.

Despite the distance of several thousand kilometers, Poland and South Korea are growing an even tighter bond. Both countries cooperate in the energy and defense sectors, and more Korean investments have begun to flow to Poland. „We are researching where the third NPP in Poland should be built, it will be the second plant sponsored by the government. Bełchatów is highly likely,” said Jacek Sasin, VP and States Assets Minister, in an interview for Radio Plus. „The best two locations will be announced this autumn,” he added.
