PGNiG has purchased three new licences in Norway

Polish Oil and Gas Company has enriched its portfolio on the Norwegian Continental Shelf with new exploration licenses. It was awarded as part of the Awards in Predefined Areas (APA 2019) by the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. Thus, the number of concessions on the shelf in which the PGNiG Group holds shares increased to 29. It has status of the operator on four of them.

Baltic Pipe offshore gas pipeline has obtained location decision

The West Pomeranian Voivode has issued a decision on the location for the Polish part of the Baltic Pipe offshore pipeline.

Forthcoming construction of Baltic Pipe

On 9 January 2020, GAZ-SYSTEM signed a contract with EUROPIPE GmbH for the supply of pipes for the offshore part of the Baltic Pipe, which will be laid on the bottom of the Baltic Sea. The Company also accepted the design documentation for this gas pipeline. These are other important milestones in the timely completion of the investment by the company.

Polish Oil and Gas Company and Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa have signed a contract for the pre-mining of methane from hard coal seams. The works will be carried out at the Budryk Coal Mine, which is owned by JSW.
