GAZ-SYSTEM together with TSOs of the CEE region are pleased to publish the Gas Regional Investment Plan 2019 (CEE GRIP) which provides a specific regional view of supply, demand and capacity developments in the CEE region for the upcoming decade.

The company concluded an agreement with Zespół Elektrociepłowni Wrocławskich KOGENERACJA S.A. on the connection of a new gas and steam unit to the transmission network. This investment is of key importance for Wrocław and its surroundings. At the moment CHP Plant Czechnica produces energy by burning coal and biomass.

The construction of the Ostrołęka C power plant has already cost PLN 300 million. The price may go up because the invoices are still being counted. The company Polskie LNG from the GAZ-SYSTEM Group has signed a contract for the extension of the existing LNG re-gasification facility by adding further SCV (Submerged Combustion Vaporiser) units. This will increase the current re-gasification capacity of the President Lech Kaczyński LNG Terminal in Świnoujście by 50%.

The West Pomeranian Voivode issued a decision approving the extension of the gas compressor station in Goleniów. It is the first of three decisions to be obtained by GAZ-SYSTEM for the expansion and construction of these infrastructure elements as a part of the Baltic Pipe project.

On 17 January 2020, the final acceptance of Zdzieszowice – Kędzierzyn-Koźle gas pipeline took place. It is the first of the strategic gas pipelines in GAZ-SYSTEM Branch in Świerklany, the construction of which has already been completed.

On December 19, 2019, the President of the Energy Regulatory Office gave a decision specifying the content of the entrustment contract concluded by GAZ-SYSTEM and TGPS EuRoPol GAZ, relating to operator’s duties applied to the Yamal Gas Pipeline.
