The discussion was dominated by the future of the Paris Agreement after President Donald Trump’s decision, who wants to pull out from the package.
Open Season for Baltic Pipe will show if there is demand for Norway’s gas
On 6 June Gaz-System and Energinet.dk will start an open season procedure for the Baltic Pipeline. The gas pipeline is one of the elements of the Northern Gateway, which could connect Poland with Norway’s gas deposits, and thus offer Central and Eastern Europe a potentially economically attractive alternative to Russian gas.
