During a panel „Towards a low carbon emerging Europe economy” moderated by Wojciech Jakóbik (Editor-in-Chief of BiznesAlert.pl) at a conference Emerging Europe and the United States: Towards 2030, panelists discussed the ways of achieving the goals of climate policy.

The EU budget for a just energy transition, i.e. money for, e.g. supporting regions dependant on coal, will launch in 2021. Poland is still drafting its transition plan, but time is running out – writes Wojciech Jakóbik, editor-in-chief at BiznesAlert.pl.

Climate policy is a result of a scientific conclusion that we should protect the climate by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It is also a subject of an ideological discussion, which may do harm to the cause – Wojciech Jakóbik writes.
